Your Child's Details

This page enables you to enter information about the child on whose behalf you are applying. It is important that the child is identified correctly before an application is submitted.

      If you have received a Unique ID code (UID) and it has been entered correctly, some information relating to the child concerned will be displayed automatically. In this case only the child's address and current school details can be edited.

      If a UID has not been entered, comprehensive child information must be entered as indicated below and can be edited before the admissions group closes. After the admission group closing date applicants should contact the Local Authority directly with changes.

Certain sections are mandatory (i.e. the information requested must be supplied in order to proceed with the application). The Next button will not be available until all such fields have been completed.

Next Button

When all the information has been entered select the Next button. The system will then check that certain details for the child (surname, forename, date of birth and gender) do not correspond to an existing application made by you (i.e. that you are not making a duplicate application). If preferred schools have already been recorded, you will be taken to the Preferred Schools List. If not, the Preferred School Details page will be displayed to allow you to enter a preferred school.

Please note that the information you have entered is not saved until you have selected Next. If you leave this page without selecting Next, all the information you have entered will be lost.

Previous Button

If you select the Previous button you will be taken back to the Your Details screen. If all the information has been provided it will be saved. If all the mandatory information has not been provided any data entered will be lost.

Re-Submit Application Button

If you have opened this page to edit an application that has already been submitted (by selecting the View or Edit Existing Applications button), you will need to re-submit the application. Select the Re-Submit Application button to be taken to the Re-Submit page. You will need to reconfirm your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

Important Note: If you opt to edit any part of a submitted application you will have to re-submit the application after this point even if you do not make any changes, as the act of opting to edit an application automatically makes it Unsubmitted.
