If you have not been able to find the school name you require by using the Preferred School Selector you can use this advanced search facility to search through all schools listed on the National Database of schools.
Enter all or part (this does not have to be the beginning but must be at least one character) of the name of the school you are applying to and select the Search button.
In order to narrow down the list, enter the name of the school’s Local Authority and/or the gender of children accepted by the school.
If you wish, you can enter a Local Authority without entering a school name, however at least one of these two fields must contain an entry for the search to continue.
The Local Authority button displays a list of all Local Authorities.
The button next to the name you require enters it into the Preferred School - Extended Search.
In the same way, if you select the Intake Gender button a list of options Co-Ed (i.e. both boys and girls attend the school), Female and Male is displayed. Select the button next to the correct option.
Select the Search button to display an alphabetical list of schools with their addresses and intake gender that fulfil the search criteria you have selected. Select the Select button for the correct name to enter it.
