Offer Information

When the final school allocations have been made, you may be able to view online the school that has been offered to your child. This will only be possible if it is the policy of your Local Authority, and will be after a date set by them (called the "Publicise Allocation" date). At this point the Offer Information button will be available on the Existing Applications page and will open this Offer Information page.

The schools are listed in Rank Order (the position you gave them in your preference list) and for each one the School Number, School Name, Local Authority, the School’s Website and the Offer Status will be displayed.

If your child has been offered a place at a school, the status for that school will show as Place Offered. All schools at which a place has not been allocated for any reason will show as Not Offered. If your child was allocated a place at a school and you have accepted the offer, the status will show Accepted by Parent.

If the Local Authority has been unable to offer your child a place at any of your preferences (usually due to oversubscription) then the school at which they have offered a place will be displayed without an entry in the Rank column. A message will also be displayed from the Local Authority informing you of this.

If your child has been withdrawn from the admissions process then each school will show a status of Withdrawn.

If you made the original application for a school place using this online system then a View button will be available allowing you to look at the application form you completed. This will not be available if you applied using a paper form. As the admissions group closing date and time has passed you can no longer change any of these details.

If you would like to make an appeal, select the Make an Appeal button for the school. This will take you to the Appeal Application page. If you have already made an appeal this button will be labelled View an Appeal. Select the button to view or amend the details.

      If you wish to make an appeal to a school that is not within your Local Authority you must contact the Local Authority responsible for the school. You cannot make such an appeal through this system.

      If you wish to make an appeal to a school for which the Local Authority does not deal with the Admissions process you should contact the school directly or contact the Local Authority for further information. You cannot make such an appeal through this system.

At the bottom of this page are a series of links. Select a link to download a blank Application or Appeal Form (if you wish to return the form by post rather than via this online system), change your password, contact the Local Authority or log out.

Offer Status

The following codes are used to indicate the status of an offer. They are updated as the admissions procedure progresses.
