Appeal Hearing Details and Result

This page is available after an appeal has been submitted. It is opened when you select the View Details button on the My Appeals page. It displays all the information relating to the selected appeal hearing. You cannot directly amend or add to this, however you can print a copy of the information displayed on the page or contact the Local Authority from here.

The name of the school for which you have appealed is indicated at the top of the page.

Summary

This section shows the name of the child and the appellant (the person who logged on to make the appeal), the date the appeal application was submitted and the allocation status.

Hearing Venue and Date Details

If a hearing date has been set, the date, time, venue and the room number at the venue (if applicable) where the hearing is to be held are shown.

Result

If the hearing has been held and a decision made, the result is displayed.

To View the Original Application or Add Further Information

Select the View/Edit Original Application button to open the Appeal Application page. Although you cannot change any of the original details displayed you can type additional information into the memo box until a certain time before the appeal hearing. The number of days or hours before the hearing that you can make changes to this memo will be indicated to you on-screen and is determined by your Local Authority. If you change any information you must re-submit the form using the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
