As part of the checks carried out when you select Next, the Date of Birth will be used to automatically calculate the correct National Curriculum Year (NCY) for the child. If this does not correspond the NCY of the Admission Group - i.e. children in the calculated NCY would not normally be changing schools with this group, you will be asked if you wish to proceed or not. This may occur, for example, if the child has been advanced ahead of their normal year group for academic reasons.
You may alter the date of birth, select a different admission group, or continue with the application.
