Each child should be included in an Admission Group. An Admission Group is a group of children, usually in the same National Curriculum year group (NCY) - i.e. their birthdates fall within a particular range - who are attending a particular school or type of school (for example a junior school) and who are moving on to a particular school or type of school (for example to a secondary school) at the end of a phase of education.
Admission Groups (sometimes called Transfer Groups) are defined by each Local Authority each year, for each educational phase.
You should select the admission group that is appropriate for your child. If you select an inappropriate group you will be warned of this and given the opportunity to change it when you have entered your child's details.
The admission groups are listed on this page. For each group a descriptive name, the year of admission and the closing date and time for applications are listed.
Select the Select button for a group to choose it or select the Previous button to return to the previous page without changing any information.
